v25.09: AI-assisted Dimension Extra Field Filter
You can use AI-assisted filtering of dimension extra fields when fetching data if you are using Clausion on the ISW platform.
Enter your desired filtering criteria in natural language into the AI Dimension Extra Field Filter search field, for example: "Apply filter for DIM00 where E01 is less than 30".
Click the AI Search button. The AI Filter Summary field will appear, containing a precise prompt generated by AI based on your query for data filtering.
When you click the Open button, the report will retrieve data according to the filter.
Note: You need to add the showdimextrafields element under the outlookparameter component in the User Interface for the AI search and filter fields to be visible in the Web Client.
You can also insert a predefined query into the field using the info icon next to the field name. Clicking the icon opens a pop-up window where you can select the query. Finally, click OK.
Note: To enable predefined queries, need to add the extrafieldqueries element under the showdimextrafields element in the User Interface.
v24.12: Validation messages on selections view
You may receive validation messages before or after opening a task or a template.
If a selection field is missing a value or the value is invalid, the field is highlighted in red, and a validation message appears under the field.
If a more complicated error or multiple errors prevent a task or template from opening, an error message box appears on top of the selections, displaying the error(s).
If an error occurs while a task or a template is open, you receive a toast notification about the error in the top right corner of Web Client.
Opening a folder or task in a new tab
You can open a folder or task in a new browser tab.
Move the mouse pointer over a folder or a task in the navigation bar.
-
Right-click on the navigation item and select Open in new tab.
v24.09:
The selected folder or task opens in a new tab.
v26.09: Ribbon Display Options
You can control the display of the ribbon and sheet tabs in the Web Client to maximize your workspace, similar to Excel.
Click the Ribbon Display Options menu (the ellipsis in the top-right corner).
-
Select your preferred viewing mode:
Full Screen Mode: Hides the entire ribbon and header.
Show Tabs Only: Hides the ribbon commands but keeps the sheet tabs visible.
Always Show Ribbon: The default mode that displays the full interface.
In Full Screen Mode, hovering over the gray bar at the top automatically reveals the ribbon. The ribbon closes after two seconds or when you click outside it. You can also press Esc to exit Full Screen Mode and return to Always Show Ribbon.
Each sheet, workbook, or task maintains its own ribbon display setting independently.
v26.10: Adding Comments to Cells for Input and Report Templates
You can add comments directly to cells in input and report templates, similar to the functionality available in Excel.
To add a comment to a cell:
Select any data cell in a template with saved transactional data.
Click New Comment selection in the ribbon of the View tab or right-click the cell and select New Comment from the context menu.
Type your comment on the popup window. You can also tag other people working with the template to the comment.
Post the comment by clicking the Post comment button (arrow).
Once posted, the comment displays the username, cell reference, and timestamp. A comment indicator appears in the top-right corner of a commented cell, similar to Excel.
Managing Comments
You can manage your comments in the comment popup via the settings (the cog icon):
- Edit: Modify your own comments after they have been posted
- Delete: Remove the entire comment thread or specific replies within a thread
- Resolve: Mark a comment conversation as resolved once the discussion or associated action is completed
You can also reply to existing comments and tag other users for direct notification via the text field in the comment pop-up. When you tag a user in a comment, that user will see the comment in their dashboard widget.
Comments Section in the Ribbon
In the Comment section of the View tab in the ribbon, you can access the following comment management options:
- New Comment: Add a comment to a selected cell
- Delete Comment: Remove a comment thread or specific replies
- Show Comments: Display all comments in the current sheet in a side panel with filtering capabilities
The Show Comments panel displays all comments in the active sheet in a side panel, along with their cell references. You can click any comment to navigate to its corresponding cell. The panel also includes filtering options that allow you to display only comments assigned to you, active comments, or resolved comments.
Comments on Report Templates
The comment feature is available not only on input sheets but also on report templates. The requirement is that you must have the complete data combination of unit, account, period, and document series to add a comment to a cell.
Limitations
Comments are not available on custom columns such as parameter management columns or comment-designated columns, as these do not have the required data combination. Additionally, comments are specific to the template combination you are using. If you open the same template with different selections, you'll see any comments associated with those selections and not comments from previous selections.
