v25.07: The dashboard shows your name along with a welcome note. You can see three sections , Recently Viewed, Favourites, and v26.10: Comments displayed below your user name.
v26.06: Another section, Workflows, is also available on the dashboard. The Workflow section is configured with parameter Dashboard_Layout. From the dashboard’s top-right corner, you can also customize visible sections via the settings (cog) icon.
v26.09: You can open and edit templates from the widgets in a new browser tab. Click the ellipsis menu icon in the widget and click Open to open the task on a new browser tab or Edit to edit the task in a new browser tab.
By default, the home page is shown wide, and the navigation bar is collapsed (narrow).
You can expand the bar by clicking the circle button with an arrow on the right side edge of the bar:
By clicking the Home icon on the navigation bar, you return to the dashboard from any other page.
The navigation bar and the tasks are available in the Clausion Web Client in three languages (Finnish, English, Swedish).
- It is possible to keep the navigation bar visible all the time as wide, or you can collapse it as a narrow bar to the left side of the screen.
- The server connection is displayed in the browser tab name.
The administrator tasks that have not been implemented yet are not visible in the Web Client (for example, managing of accounts and units).
v26.10: Comments
In the Comments widget, you can has see all the template comments to which another user tags you.
Viewing Comments
The widget displays comments in reverse chronological order, with the most recently added comment shown first. For each comment, you can see:
- The date the comment was added
- The username of the person who added the comment
- The comment text (with hover functionality to view the full comment if it is lengthy)
- The template name where the comment was added
- The selection criteria used when the comment was created
Navigating to Comments
You can click on any comment in the widget or use the Open button to navigate directly to the template where the comment is located. When you open a comment from the dashboard, the template loads automatically in a new tab, and the ribbon opens by default, allowing you to immediately view and reply to the comment.
Managing Comment Status
Once you have addressed a comment or completed the associated task, you can mark the entire comment thread as resolved. Resolved comments are removed from the dashboard widget, so you see only active comments that require your attention. This allows you to use the Comments widget as a task list for tracking pending items.
Note: You can only see comments on templates to which you have been granted access. If another user tags you in a comment but you do not have access to the template, the comment will not be visible until the template is assigned to your role.
v26.06: Workflow view
The Workflow view provides an overview of all open workflows, each displayed in its own tab starting with the most recent. Selecting a tab opens it in the main view. Administrators can see all workflows, while doers and reviewers only see workflows that include tasks assigned to them.
The top-right corner includes search, refresh, and expand/minimize options. The search function works across all columns, such as units, reviewers, doers, and status. A status filter allows you to refine the list; by default, all statuses except approved are selected, making the view useful as a task-oriented to-do list.
You can expand a task using the arrow next to the task name to reveal details like units, assignments, subtask statuses, comments, and attachments. Color-coded triangle icons indicate urgency (yellow for nearing due date, red for overdue).
Clicking a task, unit, comment, or attachment opens the Workflow execution screen with the relevant context.
