Clausion 26.09 Release Notes

Introduction

This document includes information about the new features, other improvements, and corrected known issues implemented in the Clausion 26.09 release.

New Features and Other Improvements

Recently Viewed and Favorite Templates in New Browser Tabs

Feature ID: FD-36184

You can now open templates from your Recently Viewed or Favorite lists in a new browser tab, similar to the drill-down functionality. This enhancement allows you to work on a dashboard while opening templates without losing your place. The existing functionality for opening, editing, or deleting templates from these lists remains unchanged. This capability works with both the new and legacy dashboard layouts.

Data Unlocking Sheet for Rules with Global and Custom Parameters

Feature ID: FD-30153

You can now use global parameters and custom parameters in the data unlocking functionality. The Unlocked Socument Series field has been enhanced from accepting a single document series value to a text field that accepts document series IDs, global parameters, or custom parameters. This allows you to support nested parameters and reduces the need for multiple entries when using parameters with multiple document series values. This enhancement works on both the Desktop Client and the Web Client.

DROnline Cache Duration and Force Refresh

Feature ID: FD-27722

You can now configure cache duration settings for DROnline data retrieval. You have options to disable caching or set duration intervals from 5 minutes to 1 day. When cache expiration is enabled, DROnline refreshes metadata such as unit names and account names from Clausion at the configured interval. Monthly transactional data, however, is always retrieved directly from the database, regardless of the cache refresh interval or forced refresh settings. The Force Refresh button bypasses the configured cache duration and retrieves the latest data immediately from the database.

When you select the Disable option, the DROnline cache is not refreshed; however, data will still reflect after a Web Client cache refresh.

Longer cache durations provide better performance impact when you are not frequently adding new units and accounts.

Ribbon Display Options for Web Client

Feature ID: FD-36868

You can now control the display of the ribbon and sheet tabs in the Web Client to maximize your working space similarly to Excel. The Ribbon Display Options menu provides three viewing modes: Full Screen Mode, which hides the complete ribbon and header; Show Tabs Only, which hides the ribbon options but keeps sheet tabs visible; and Always Show Ribbon, the default mode that displays the complete interface.

In Full Screen Mode, hovering over the top gray bar automatically reveals the ribbon, which closes after two seconds or when you click outside. You can also press the Escape key to exit Full Screen Mode and return to Always Show Ribbon. Each sheet, workbook, or task maintains its own ribbon display setting independently.

Input Data Calculation (IDC) on Web Client

Feature ID: FD-14857

You can now run input data calculations (IDC) directly from the Web Client. Tasks configured on the Desktop Client are available on the Web Client when you log in with the assigned role. You can select dimensions, data types, and periods just as you do on the Desktop Client, then click the Start Calculation button to begin the calculation.

The Web Client includes validation to ensure required dimension components are selected. A validation message appears if you attempt to start a calculation with missing required selections. Once you confirm your selections, a confirmation message appears showing which selections will be used, and the calculation begins. You can monitor the calculation status from the status page just as you would on the Desktop Client.

Corrected Known Issues

Resolution

FD-37958

Data was not saved correctly when two users saved data to the same template for different units at exactly the same time.

You can now open the same template for different units and save data without conflicts. Data is saved to the respective unit correctly.

FD-28855

The cell lock defined at the Excel level is removed when the periodizing is deleted.

You can now remove periodizing parameters without affecting cells locked through Excel or template functionality. Only cells locked by periodizing become unlocked.

FD-27802

Large numbers were automatically scaled during data entry when certain browser language settings were in use.

You can now enter and save numbers regardless of the browser language setting. Numbers display correctly in all supported languages.

FD-37188

Some entries did not appear in the drill-through report because the query field's maximum length was insufficient.

The field length has been increased, and all required voucher series are now displayed correctly.

FD-36534

Web Client returned an error when saving data if the area being saved contained rows resembling header rows, where the data columns contained formulas.

You can now save data in the Web Client even when the area being saved contained rows resembling header rows, where the data columns contained formulas.
