Web Client: Dimension Extra Field

You can now filter data using dimension extra fields directly in the Web Client, matching the functionality available in the Desktop Client. This enhancement provides more flexible data filtering capabilities based on custom dimension attributes.

Configuration

To enable dimension extra fields, configure the ShowDimExtraField parameter in the Desktop Client for the desired dimensions (e.g., Dim00, Dim01). Once configured, these extra fields automatically become available in the Web Client.

Using Extra Field Filters

In the Web Client, you access extra field filters through a dedicated Extra Field selection located above dimension selection fields in the task selection view. The Extra Field selection remains enabled even when the unit selection popup is disabled, allowing you to filter data based on extra field values for your selected unit.

When you click the Extra Field selection, a new popup opens displaying all available filtering options. You can use various filter operators and specify value ranges for your filtering criteria. For additional information and guidance, you can hover over the information icon (i) to view helpful tooltips.

For dropdown-type extra fields, you can select multiple values. The interface displays selected values in a user-friendly format, and you can easily remove selections by clicking the cross icon next to each value.

If you enter incorrect or incomplete values in the filter option fields, a notification will appear below the respective field and the OK button on the popup becomes disabled until you correct the errors.

Extra field filters work seamlessly with other Web Client features:

You can apply filters directly from the Selections without returning to the main selection screen
Drill-down functionality respects extra field filters, fetching data only for the filtered subset

Corrected Known Issues

FD-27254	Web Client: When drilling down to the invoice image, the wrong invoice image is displayed if the rows in the drill-down template have been rearranged before drilling down.	You can now drill down to invoice images after sorting transaction rows. The system correctly retrieves the invoice image corresponding to the selected row regardless of sort order.
FD-26883	Web Client: The Web Client may slow down significantly and even become unresponsive while entering data.	Web Client performance has been significantly improved and memory consumption has been optimized, and the interface no longer becomes unresponsive when entering long values or working with multiple templates.
