Period Locking and Data Unlocking for Roles
You can lock periods for the different user roles in the system using the Period Locking for Roles custom template. See Period Locking for Roles.
v25.11: In addition, you can more precisely control which periods, document series, and units users are allowed to enter data for by using the Data Unlocking for Roles custom template.
For example in the template below, the CONSOLIDATION group has all document series and units open starting from period 11, except for period 10, where CF other entries, comparative adjustments can still be made. The COMPANY role has all periods locked except that it can enter data from period 10 onward for unit PC. The ADMINUSER role has access to all data starting from period 10.
