Installing ESEF Reporting Tool

Note: Support for the Clausion ESEF Reporting Tool ends with version 25.01. Starting from version 25.02, you can use insightsoftware’s Certent Disclosure Management (CDM) application for ESEF reporting. For more information on CDM, please contact your account executive.

ESEF Reporting Tool is installed during DR installation. ESEF Reporting Tool is an Excel add-in and it is based on vba and excel macros.

Note: It is not possible to use ESEF Reporting Tool without an FPM XBRL licence.

Name of the add-in: Clausion.ESEFReportingTool.AddIn.xlam

Security requirements

ESEF Reporting Tool is signed and it is recommended to add Clausion as a trusted publisher. More information is found in Add, remove, or view a trusted publisher (Microsoft documentation).

It is also possible to change the Macro Security Settings for enabling macros. More information is found in Change macro security settings in Excel (Microsoft documentation).
