Internal Data Transfer (IDT) improvements

Feature ID: FD-10662

The IDT improvements include user interface updates for CoDIM00 including which affect the IDT transfer and include validation message updates.

User interface changes for CoDIM00

  • A new CODIM00 option has been added to the Conversion Table Type dropdown in the conversion table pop-up. You can now add, save, and delete data for the CODIM00 conversion type and save the corresponding source ID and target ID in the conversion table. This table is used for converting counter units. Additionally, a new CODIM00 option has been added to the Custom Conversion Type dropdown.
  • A new CODIM00 option has been added to the conversion table component in User Interface Management. With this component, you can define the counter unit conversion according to which the counter unit is converted in IDT. If you do not define the counter unit conversion, the conversion is made according to the DIM00 conversion.
  • A new dropdown has been added for the CODIM00 conversion table under the Target Options tab in the IDT view. In this dropdown, you can see the selections defined in User Interface Management and change the conversion table.
  • A new column (Conversion Table for CODIM00) has been added to the IDT status sheet. In this column, you can see which conversion has been applied to the counter unit in terms of CODIM00.
  • A new row for the CODIM00 option has been added to the IDT confirmation pop-up.

IDT Transfer and Validations

This feature enables the utilization of the counter unit conversion for Type 2 document series. When you select CODIM00 conversion table with Type 2 document series in IDT, data is transferred from source to target counter units defined in the CODIM00 conversion table. Data transfer is now possible for counter units that exist in the "not-in-use" state for Type 2 document series.

Please avoid the following scenarios, which will trigger validation messages and may even prevent the CODIM00 conversion with Type 2 document series:

  1. If you select a series other than Type 2 from Source Options 2 and select the CODIM00 conversion table in Target Options.
  2. If the target unit and target counter unit are the same for any Type 2 document series.
  3. If the source DIM00 unit and target CODIM00 unit become the same after the transfer, a validation message is displayed, and the transfer is aborted.
  4. If the CODIM00RIGHTS parameter is true and the target CODIM00 unit is not connected with STRUCTURE1, a validation message is displayed, and the transfer is aborted.
  5. If the CODIM00RIGHTS parameter is true and you do not have rights for the target CODIM00 unit, a validation message is displayed, and the transfer is aborted.
  6. If the CODIM00RIGHTS parameter is false and the target counter unit is not connected with any hierarchy, a validation message is displayed, and the transfer is aborted.

Corrected Known Issues

Issue ID
